JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

As a Distribution Clerk I, you will receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility. In this position, you will be responsible for processing, tracking and maintaining shipping documents. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. You must have the ability to problem-solving skills, comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities:

• Corresponding with email to support shipping request inside and outside building
• Responsible for processing shipping documentation for customer supplied & collect orders
• Responsible for conducting cycle count by location and/or model as directed
• Responsible for auditing inbound / outbound shipments verifying count, correct models and labels
• Processes transaction in Oracle system as it relates to the shipping function

• Miscellaneous duties and other tasks as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience on Oracle or Other MRP System
• Excellent Communication skills
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Customer Service Oriented
• High-energy, self-motivation, personal initiative, a strong sense of urgency, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to understand and follow detailed instructions, skillfully identify and prioritize problems and elevate them to supervision.
• Ability to work with limited Supervision
• Strong critical reasoning skills with the ability to identify and solve problems

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position is done in a Warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist. This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong MS Office skills
