Job Description:

Program Manager for Maxion Wheels Sedalia LLC in Sedalia, MO. Duties include: Manage and coordinate new passenger car and light truck vehicle wheel program developments, including quotation, project feasibility, project risk assessment, program schedules, program phase reviews, customer requirements, design changes, operational capacities, and defining project goals. Supervise analysis of new program development problems and ensure delivery of products meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Report out to leadership team project status, including risks and action plans. Oversee interactions with application engineers to deploy customer needs at the plant level and assure that tasks are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate internal product design and engineering development activities, including design reviews of new programs, engineering changes, and plant launch activity. Oversee implementation of product Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) alternatives to reduce costs at the plant level. 20% domestic and international travel. Req: Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Production, Mechanical, Automation and Control, or Mechatronic Engineering, or foreign equivalent. 4 years of experience in a product development engineering position in the passenger car and light truck steel wheel industry. 4 years of experience with each of the following: leading project development activities for passenger car and light truck steel wheels, including defining project schedules with MS Project, project budget approval, project metrics definition, design reviews, and project launch coordination; mitigating risks during passenger car and light truck steel wheel development programs utilizing FEA analysis, IMDS, and AIAG core tools including APQP, in accordance with either IATF or predecessor TS-16949 standards; coordinating development of quotations for passenger car and light truck steel wheels, including analyzing customer requirements, tooling designs and costs, timing calculations, packaging definitions, and production capacity and capability analyses; utilizing Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to coordinate passenger car and light truck steel wheel product development activities, including RFQs, BOMs, and engineering changes; coordinating product engineering and manufacturing processes for passenger car and light truck steel wheels, including stamping, roll forming, welding, painting, and machining processes; defining and validating new passenger car and light truck steel wheel engineering specifications in accordance with INMETRO requirements.
