Job Description

Dewberry has an opportunity for a Civil CAD Designer to join our Civil/Land Development Group in our Greenwood Village or Louisville, CO office and participate on the Civil Design team working with engineers, project managers, and other professionals.

This position emphasizes design and plan set preparation for residential, multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use projects.Work activities may include; grading, pipe networks, alignments, profiles, sections, and redline drafting for conceptual, preliminary, and final design drawings.

Responsibilities

    Prepare base files, plan exhibits, construction documentation and detailed design drawings for an array of land development and civil engineering projects.
  • Provide drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining AutoCAD 3D drawings that compile to create a set of permittable plans.

  • Coordinate with internal team members and the greater Design Team members to deliver successful projects.

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards across the Civil/Land Development Group.

  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Required Skills & Required Experience


  • High school diploma.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience asa CADD designer (AutoCAD Civil3D) with civil, land development emphasis.

  • Experience and demonstrated ability with current versions of AutoCAD and usingthe Civil 3D package to create surfaces, alignments and profiles.

  • High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.

  • Must have excellent communication skills and desire to work in a team environment.

The projected range for this position is $68,425-$87,975 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.


Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
