The Director of Facilities Management has the overall responsibility for all activities related to plant operation, construction, routine maintenance, medical equipment, utility, life safety, safety and security management at all Mid Coast hospital facilities. Strives to maintain a goal of a safe, reliable environment of care for patients, visitors, and staff. The successful employee will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform job duties in a safe, professional manner.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical field or equivalent experience required.
License/Certifications:Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) required. 4th class Stationary Engineers License required. Valid Maine Driver's License
Experience:3-5 years in the hospital or service field
Ability to use basic computer functions Microsoft Office, Email
Strong knowledge of codes regulations and standards
