We are looking for an HR Generalist to provide full-service HR business partner support to PACCAR Financial Services and Corporate client groups in the US and Canada. The ideal candidate has strong employee relations experience, outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities and dynamic customer service orientation.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Employee relations activities including developing collaborative relationships with employees and managers, conduct investigations, identify problem resolution, provide counsel on policy interpretation and employment law, advise on employee development, and compensation administration.
Lead the Supervisor Roadmap and Compliance Training program.
Manage Division & Puget Sound orientation and support onboarding program
Co-Chair service award recognition program.
Participate in the Corporate building safety committee.
Responsible for the exit interview process, survey & analysis.
Participate in HR projects such as Employee surveys, mentor program activities, engagement events, compensation projects, etc.
Provide support to PACCAR's annual performance appraisal and succession planning process and executive succession planning process.
Responsible for HR compliance/audit duties including employee files, separation files, i-9s, records retention, etc.
Support PACCAR Corporate, Finance, and Leasing intern program including onboarding, exiting, coordinating leader presentations and leader lunches.
Manages department's HRIS (SAP) maintenance.
Qualifications
Four-year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.
3+ years of demonstrated Human Resources experience.
Working knowledge of Employment Law, FMLA, WAFCA, ADA, FLSA and Worker's Compensation.
Working knowledge of Performance Management and Employee Relations.
Outstanding communication, follow-through, problem-solving, and excellent customer service orientation.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with employees and managers at all different levels of the organization.
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
Strong PC skills (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Excellent professional presentation and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to maintain discretion around confidential information.
