About the Role


Customer satisfaction is the name of the game as a Merchant Services Client Professional I. You will provide a broad range of technical and customer support to TransFund merchants and financial institutions, including sales assistance directly to prospective merchant customers. Additionally, you will provide customer service to convert merchants' businesses and financial institutions to the TransFund payment processing system.

You will be responsible for presenting complex information and issues clearly and concisely to merchants, financial institutions, and other various external parties. You will have significant decision-making authority and responsibility for solving problems, customer complaints, and issues that arise throughout the day. You will need to be flexible and have the ability to juggle multiple requests and tasks with different deadlines.

How You'll Spend Your Time



  • You will assist with reviewing the merchant conversion results (reports, statements, and settlements) to determine necessary refinements and confirm that overall objectives have been met.

  • You will consistently deliver excellent customer service over the phone and in writing to build valuable relationships with merchant customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • You will research and resolve routine merchant customer billing questions, settlement issues, rate reviews and communicate resolution to the customer in a timely and accurate manner.

  • You will research and troubleshoot technical problems (communication problems, hardware, and software problems) and work with Account Representatives on appropriate solutions.

Education & Experience Requirements


The required level of knowledge is normally acquired through an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience of 2+ years in a customer service-related field.


  • Strong knowledge of merchant payment processing systems, Visa/MasterCard rules, merchant debit and credit card products, customer account retention and bank operations/accounting

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communications skills with ability to prepare and deliver presentations

  • Strong PC skills including word and spreadsheet applications

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data to facilitate troubleshooting and resolve problems for clients

  • Ability to handle difficult customers and multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF, as well as ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities, and resolving issue proactively

  • Ability to effectively plan time, method, manner and sequence of own work assignments
