Java React/UI developer

Location and Travel: Chicago, IL

Job Description :

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field with 8+ years of experience in Information Technology

• 5+ years of experience in building and integrating Java, J2EE applications


• Develop UI components using React JS HTML5 CSS3 and SASS


• Create reusable UI components


• Work with business analysts to understand system requirements


• Work with team members in integrating the UI with backend code and validating the functionality Work with the UX leads to ensure UI complies with design expectation


• Frequently communicate with team members during program development to review progress and ensure that requirements have been met


• Evaluate best approach to design UI


• Present solutions and recommendations to stakeholders


• Provide technical training and mentoring to other teams and team members


• Strong knowledge in React JS SPA development


• Strong knowledge in Javascript


• Strong knowledge in HTML5 CSS3 and SASS


• Strong knowledge in Nodejs


• Experience in working with Redux is must


• Good experience in Unit testing frameworks like React Testing Library Jasmine


• Strong knowledge in handling JSON


• Expertise in RESTful Webservices


• Familiar in creating reusable React Component Library


• Good Client side debugging skills


• Good Experience in GIT


• Exposure to Azure DevOps is bonus
