Data Modeler

Experience: 5-8+ years

Requirement:

At least 4 years of experience in Data modelling and Data mapping skills

Extensive experience with Entity Relationship Diagrams and data modeling tools 

Experience performing data discovery  analysis and profiling 

Experience creating source to target mappings for both batch and real time data 

Ability to work in team in diverse multiple stakeholder environment

 Strong consulting and communication skills

Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions

Roles and Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into data models conceptual  logical  and physical to support big data platform solutions 

Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies  build data flows and develop conceptual data models

 Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality  reduce redundancy and optimize performance 

Designs logical enterprise wide data models 

Provides support for master data management  logical data  quality system development  implementation  and maintenance 

Makes recommendations for process improvements in order to support data integrity efforts 

Optimize  update and maintain logical and physical data models  source to target mappings to support new and existing projects 

Establish  communicate and enforce best practices and standards 

Strong communications skills verbal and written and the ability to effectively communicate design recommendations to a varied audience  Build positive team dynamics by understanding usability and design principles
