Job Description
JOB DUTIES:
Assemble mechanical parts, as instructed in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, travelers, etc.) into sub-units or complete units.
Mechanical assembly concepts to include gear and motor drive assembly
Familiarity with performing leak checks and vacuum seals on equipment
Wire electronic components as instructed in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, travelers, etc.) into sub-units or complete units
Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units, including sub-assembly, process assembly, inspection, modifications, upgrades and rework.
Completes production/quality related documentation
Performs work in accordance with quality and engineering standards
Responsible for inspecting and testing their own work before moving to next routing step
Keep work area clean and organized as to present a professional work environment
Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
5 + years' experience in manufacturing/production environment
Overtime required when needed
Electro-Mechanical experience with:
Schematic reading and comprehension (Mechanical and Electrical)
Hand tools (Wrenches, Screwdrivers, Torque tools, Small power tools)
PREFERRED:
Associated degree in electronic field
Certifications (Current or Non-Current)
IPC-610
IPC-620
J-Standard 001
Quality controlled environment
