Summary
The IT Infrastructure Engineer who is responsible for the design, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Network, Voice and Security infrastructure in a large, Global multi-site, diverse enterprise network within the Owens & Minor global ecosystem. This role must be able to quickly learn modern technologies and have a broad range of skills encompassing Cloud environments, data centers, manufacturing sites and business offices. Knowledge should include all network hardware, security hardware, Windows Server and Active Directory functionality. Responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations and control of all equipment within wide and local area network infrastructure and Cloud. Candidate must have demonstrated customer service skills while dealing with business partners and all levels of management. Attention to detail is vital, as well as the ability to independently follow-up on details until a problem is resolved or projects are seen through to completion. Some travel expected, excellent customer interaction skills and occasional scheduled off-hours service for upgrades and maintenance will be required.
