We are looking for a talented NPI Coordinator to join our team specializing in General Management for our New Power Business Segment/New Power Business Unit in Santa Clara, CA.

  • Scope Management - Manages a list of project deliverables (scope) using the recommended project management tools and processes to ensure that the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfully.

  • Project Issue and Risk Management - Manages the process to identify, assess and prioritize issues and risks using recommended tools and processes to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of negative events or to maximize the realization of positive events.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:


  • Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through training or on-the-job experience.

  • Utilizes tools such as: Arena,  Ariba, Maximo, Excel tools for powertrain component part types, purchases, inventory and managing parts for upcoming  integration builds.

  • Materials planner in areas of:  part availability on quantities needed for Fuel Cell Module builds and transfer of parts for powertrain integration.

  • Owns part creation, part tracking, quantities in Maximo ERP system and provides weekly reporting on part components availability and reporting weekly status outlook to Project Managers who have ownership of the Fuel Cell integration responsibility. 

  • Analyzes Engineering Bills of Material established in Arena Product Life Management (PLM) system and applies to excel build status outlook reports.

  • Refines excel models based on Engineering's directive in part modifications, rework or scrap and what impacts to the component availability outlook.

  • Drives Fuel Cell BOMs breakdown to component levels and provides holistic determination when a module has 100% components receivable for scheduling of builds.

  • Provides processes improvement feedback to the Fuel Cell project team on efficiency gaps in the component releases, purchasing and integration stages.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
