We are seeking a Procedure RN to:

• Provide care, including patient triage, procedure preparation, intra-procedure care, and post-procedure recovery phases.


• Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care or critical pathway.

Education:

Preferred - Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BSN)

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year of experience with moderate sedation in a setting in which the experience was called upon frequently (i.e. Critical Care, PACU, Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, or GI)

Preferred - Two (2) years of experience with moderate sedation in a setting in which the experience was called upon frequently (i.e. Critical Care, PACU, Emergency Department, Intermediate Care, or GI)

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin and Basic Life Support/CPR. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred - Certification in area of specialty

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area


• Experience in teaching patients and families


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a Day shift position with eight (8) hour shifts; Monday - Friday: start times range from 0700-0900.  No weekend and no holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.
