Job Description:

The Role:
In this role, the Senior Associate, Logistics, will ensure to have all materials centralized to support the daily delivery of materials to support the Norwood manufacturing plant. Act as a key knowledge point for expertise and leadership with material movement between multiple offsite storage locations to keep manufacturing on schedule. Able to align with multiple groups (Material Planning, Inbound Operations, Inventory Management, Quality Inspection and Quality Assurance) to make sure all items are available for the Associates on the floor to pick accurate and complete orders. This position will be Monday through Friday working 8:00 am through 4:00 pm.

Here's What You'll Do:


  • Create Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) and facilitate material from the Norwood warehouse to complete consistent and accurate bundles and restocks to keep manufacturing on schedule.


  • Work with internal customers to complete their urgent requests for material from offsite locations.


  • Always maintain the proper amount of material on site to keep the Norwood manufacturing team on schedule with production. This includes site to site transfers between MTCS, MTCN and other offsite 3pl warehouses.


  • From the daily receipts, prioritize the items that need to be labeled and put away to meet manufacturing needs.


  • Strategize the utilization of bin fulfilment by identifying items to be repacked into other locations within all warehouses.


  • Coordinate transfers of buffer deliveries to the Norwood manufacturing plant.


  • Coordinate the return of empty buffer totes to the proper CMO for replenishment.


  • Working with the internal customers to communicate the arrival, or delay of material being put away into the warehouse.


  • Managing the utilization for the fixed bins function within EWM (SAP) to keep the bundle picking strategy on schedule.


  • Becoming a Master Data SME within SAP


  • Overseeing the material readiness for QC sample to complete their testing within a timely manner.


  • Review and strategize the storage of slow-moving material within Supply Chain.


  • Documentation oversight and delegation to completion


  • Standard Operating Procedure updates and creation.


  • Ensure that the appropriate inventory management policies are practiced managing and control inventory. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with warehouse management system.


  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:


  • MS, BA or BS in Business, Logistics Management, or Life Sciences with experience in Materials Management, Manufacturing Planning or Supply Chain Management with 4-5 years industry experience in a cGMP environment. Strong preference of experience working in a cGMP manufacturing environment under Good Documentation Practices.


  • Outstanding system skills, ERP-SAP, electronic warehouse management system, electronic document management system.


  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate with senior CMC Management in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment - you are outgoing, communicative, and seek to build relationships on a daily basis.


  • Well organized - a natural ability to be organized in how you think, communicate and conduct your work
