Position Description
Title: Territory Manager - Parts Source
Reports to: Vice President of Parts - Parts Source
Scope: Responsible for effectively promoting the sale of bus parts for both Coach & Transit markets within the territory. Responsible for servicing existing accounts and developing new business with in the assigned territory as well as expanding sales.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
- Effectively manage and expand sales in an established territory.
- Exhibit a strong emphasis on increasing Coach & Transit Part's sales with established ABC & Muncie accounts.
- Demonstrate aggressive concentration cultivating and establishing new business / accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. Achieve projected sales dollars as outlined in yearly forecasts.
- Promote new and innovative products that compliment the existing ABC product mix.
- Research and provide ABC with feedback on market conditions, market projects, customer needs, trends, and industry happenings as well as report on new or competitive products being promoted within the marketplace.
- Interact in a professional and ethical manner with all fellow employees, vendors, and customers at all times.
- Generate reports to management as required.
- Complies with all ABC policies and procedures.
- Extensive travel will be required
- Embrace and promote the customer service philosophy of exceeding customer expectations every day.

Qualifications
- Degree in Sales and Marketing preferred.
- Successful sales experience in the motor coach or motor vehicle parts industry or proven sales success in an industrial setting.
- Must have good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Requires strong organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames.
- Possesses a working knowledge of current automated business systems and must be able to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or similar applications as needed.
