Modern Healthcare is seeking a savvy Senior Director, Marketing & Audience to continue the tradition of excellence for Modern Healthcare's brand. You will be responsible for leading integrated initiatives, goals and solutions across all audience and marketing channels (digital, print, events, custom and data), delivering a more cohesive brand presence, leading new business development initiatives and efforts, developing deeper audience engagement for the brand and its clients and sharpening efforts regarding audience and advertisers' acquisition and loyalty.

In this position, you will work with the sales, events, editorial, audience development and corporate staff to accelerate revenue growth and business opportunities. As senior director, you will be responsible for addressing key questions such as how the Modern Healthcare brand is communicated and experienced, have a deep understanding of our audience's wants and needs using data and insights.

Basic Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in integrated brand marketing

  • 5+ years of management experience

  • A proven track record of success in sales or sales management

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Strong ability to collaborate and work as a team

  • In-depth knowledge of digital analytics

  • Understanding analytics and measuring ROI

  • Knowledge and experience in marketing is a must. Demonstrate an understanding of how market trends, creative, planning, media, technology, and analytics integrate and play a role in a successful marketing strategy.

  • Knowledge and experience with social media marketing

  • Knowledge and experience of audience development/data base management

  • Demonstrated experience driving marketing strategy through digital efforts and product development vision.

  • Demonstrate creativity and agility.

  • Strong negotiation, project, and time management skills

  • Budget oversight - management, analysis and reconciliation

  • Excellent writing, editing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the instinct to pay attention to detail

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and thrive in a very fast-paced work environment

  • Demonstrated a solution-driven mentality. Ability to think on his/her feet and offer solutions when faced with challenges.

  • Ability to travel and work on evenings/weekends if needed.

  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce products, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud

Preferences


  • Experience in healthcare industry

  • Sales and sales management

  • Marketing experience in the media industry

  • CRM knowledge is a must

  • CMP preferred

  • Active consumer and participant of digital/social media

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
