Senior Accountant - International Business

Position Overview:

As the Senior Accountant supporting Johnsonville's International Business you will leverage systems and your accounting acumen to consolidate all international activities, as well as utilize your leadership abilities to manage/coach the international compliance team and other stakeholders. This is an opportunity to build strong relationships with foreign and local Johnsonville members, as well as foreign auditors, bankers, and consultants to provide support for Johnsonville's international subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the international compliance team in the areas of statutory audits, month end close, consolidations, new entity setup and transfer pricing
• Build a world-class international compliance team by promoting and instilling a culture of personal learning and professional development
• Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, both domestically and internationally
• Safeguard foreign assets through financial oversight and process development due to growth through acquisition
• Coordinate with other finance members to ensure new international operations are integrated into the finance processes and reporting

• Assist in the startup of new international businesses supporting the setup of the legal entity and developing the banking and accounting relationships.
• Work with tax service providers to analyze and implement transfer pricing agreements with foreign subsidiaries
• Provide treasury support respective to transactional and capital needs

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA Preferred

Experience:

• Minimum four (4) years of corporate accounting or three (3) years public accounting experience required
• Strong technical knowledge of GAAP required
• Experience with financial consolidation processes and systems or Public accounting experience required (SAP and BPC knowledge a plus)
• Multinational accounting experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

• Demonstrated ability to lead major projects and change management efforts
• Strong leadership skills with track record of delivering excellent results
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
