We currently have an opening for a full-time Inventory Coordinator based at our site in Plymouth, MN.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all managing and executing all areas related to the management of physical inventory control for manufacturing, services, and distribution. Conducts and reconciles daily cycle counts and manages the yearly physical inventory. This position will also be responsible for preparing inventory records/reports and investigates discrepancies in stock counts.

What You'll Do:


  • Conducts daily inventory cycle counts and investigates all discrepancies by reviewing paperwork, ERP system, and following up with Supervisor as needed to address issues.

  • Completes physical inventory and variance reconciliation.

  • Performs tasks as assigned with minimal supervision.

  • Performs accurate and timely production reporting of inventory and production movements, labor and material usage and material consumption reconciliation.

  • Maintains and updates inventory system and ensures accuracy.

  • Stages materials for production to ensure an efficient workflow.

  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outline in the AWAIR, and other safety procedures in accordance to do the job.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:


  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one to two years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.

  • Forklift experience.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other similar computer software helpful.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to type accurately is required to ensure information is entered correctly into business systems.

  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.

  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the time frame specified by the Supervisor.

  • Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS


  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers).

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to executive non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch).

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

  • This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities.
