Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiasticHuman Resources Business Partner (HRBP)to support our business functions in North America. The HRBP will support a variety of Human Resources programs based at Dover Fueling Solutions global company headquarters in Austin, TX.This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. To be successful in this role, you must understand business priorities and translate them into the HR strategies and people initiatives. You will help business leaders by making data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the overall employee experience.To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations. This role will require influential partnership with middle and senior management within the organization to execute the HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness.Due to the diverse responsibilities of the role, the ideal candidate will be a competent and resourceful individual with excellent attention to detail and a passion for HR with a focus on internal customers. Key Responsibilities


  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and individual contributors to help them deliver their best work every single day


  • Partner with leaders to support the achievement of strategic priorities and provide forward thinking HR solutions to facilitate these priorities


  • Support change management and culture transformation efforts that drive a customer oriented, solution-driven mindset in the organization


  • Support talent development and management initiatives; capability development/workforce planning; driving innovation


  • Drive the performance management process


  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions


  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide people solutions to make teams more effective


  • Support the planning and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives


  • A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

  • Do all things with uncompromising integrity and honesty

Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited university


  • 3+ years human resource business partner experience


  • Experience supporting a service organization and hourly employee client groups


  • Experience in a call center, distribution center, or manufacturing environment


  • Proficiency with HRIS System and Microsoft Office Suite (excel, outlook, PPT, etc)


  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with shifting priorities


  • The ability to perform the essential functions is a requirement of the job with or without the use of a reasonable accommodation


PreferredQualifications

  • Master's Degree or MBA in HRM preferred

Candidate Experience


  • Demonstrated capability driving the performance management process


  • Demonstrated understanding of general Human Resources policies, procedures and employment/labor laws


  • Prior experience and knowledge of Labor Laws, Talent Management, Employee Relations, EEOC Investigations and/or ACA, FMLA and ADA compliance


  • Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills


  • Prior experience recruiting and onboarding talent


  • Self-motivated and with a strong aptitude for problem-solving; proactively identify potential issues and drive to resolution (Process oriented)


  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately


  • Intermediate to advanced user of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


  • Experience with HR systems (SuccessFactors, ADP, ATS systems)


  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment


  • The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"


  • Solutions focused and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions


  • Effective internal and external customer service focus


  • Understand the entire talent system


  • Operates with autonomy and discretion
