Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for ware washing, surface cleaning, and moving food and equipment to locations around the restaurant. The steward will follow standards set by ( ), ensuring a consistent high quality is product delivered to our guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wash wares (to include but not limited to pots, pans, china, flatware, glassware)
- Store wares properly in accordance of company standards
- Clean walls, floors and equipment
- Move and store equipment as directed
- Deliver products to food service areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish rooms and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner
- Perform special projects and assignments as dictated by the executive chef/management team
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work late nights, weekends and event days
- Dependable
- Ability to move 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
