Job Summary


The HRIS Analyst is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), technologies with a focus on the end user experience. Serves as the primary point of contact for end users seeking solutions for day-today business operations. A strategist in workflow design, problem solving and process improvement. Assists in implementation, developing/maintaining integrations, business processes, new product assessment, security administration and reporting.


Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions



  • Responsible for business process development, improvement, configuration releases, testing, maintenance, and ongoing maintenance; assists with the implementation of new modules within HR Systems.

  • Serves as subject matter expert for inquiries from stakeholders; educates end users, facilitates timely communications using a variety of methods.

  • Partners with the HRIS Manager to enable and develop forward thinking strategies around system enhancements, integrations, process improvement and improving the employee experience.

  • Develops and nurtures strong partnerships with department stakeholders to gather information and translates into business process/system functionality that aligns with the needs of the business; assists in the creation and maintenance of mapping the end user experience and system processes.

  • Acts as an administrator for the HRIS system. This includes testing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues; provides recommendations to address business needs.

  • Remains up to date on current HR Systems’ functionality and actively seeks ways to leverage them.

  • Monitors HRIS integrations to ensure they are functioning correctly.

  • Analyzes/Manages data integrity of the system. Ensures application security is aligned with IT security best practices.

  • Develops and maintains system documentation, processes, and procedures.

  • Participates in research for HRIS vendors that supports organizational needs.

  • Maintains current awareness of industry trends, techniques, and best practices.

Job Requirements


Education:



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and/or experience required.

Required:



  • 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst function/role.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to “tell the story” with the data, keeping the audience in mind.

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or part of a team.

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint, specifically).

  • Must be located within the HomeTrust Bank footprint.

Preferred:



  • 2+ years of experience as an HRIS Analyst.

  • Experience in documenting processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.

  • Experience with SQL and UKG Pro.
