WANTED: A mission-driven professional with an Active Top-Secret clearance to join our team asSenior Video Engineering Techniciannear Stafford, VA.

As aSenior Video Engineering Technician,you will:

• Join an already established team with opportunity to grow.


• Support a Department of Justice program, who designs, builds and implements highly technical data collection systems.


• Support a technology lab who dynamically implements technology to meet their outside customers uniquely defined evidence collection needs.

A week in the life of aSenior Video Engineering Technician:

• Design, install and maintain distributed video systems and video equipment.


• Design, prototype, assemble and test electro-mechanical devices.


• Configure video cameras and related equipment for optimum performance.


• Implement and manage optical character reader (OCR) technologies.


• Manage, configure, and integrate solutions within an IP network environment.


• Utilize IP network hardware and software.


• Test electronic board and circuitry using commercial and special purpose test equipment.


• Lead technical teams and projects.


• Lead technical writing efforts.

Job Requirements

• Experience design, install,and maintaindistributed video systems and video equipment.


• Experience designing, prototyping, assembling and testing electro-mechanical devices.


• Experience working with video cameras and related equipment.


• Experience working with OCR technologies.


• Experience implementing integrate solutions within an IP network environment.


• Experience working with network hardware and software.


• Experience testing electronic boards and circuitries using commercial and special purpose test equipment.


• Experience leading technical teams, projects and technical writing efforts.


• Have a bachelor's degree (BS) with 8+ years of relevant experience or associate degree (AS) with 10+ years relevant experience or High School/GED with 13+ years' relevant experience.


• Active Top-Secret Clearance.
