Group/Line Leader Fulfillment at AMS Fulfillment in New Holland, Pennsylvania

Primary Function:

The Group Leader will be the primary driver in the completion of operational and Fulfillment tasks related to a specific account.  This Group Leader must be detail oriented and maintain the ability to quickly and accurately learn new tasks.  The Group Leader must be able to work in a team environment, directing as well as working with the supporting staff who are performing the related tasks.  This Group Leader must be comfortable with the operations of computers and computer programs / functions required to complete the receipt of inventory, cycle counting and shipment of orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in and drive a team environment where all departments/areas work together

Overseeing, training, directing a team.

Setting up and driving production lines to complete tasks as efficiently as possible

Responsible for driving priorities and making sure the daily tasks are completed in a timely manner

Ability to handle large heavy boxes in excess of 40 lbs on a regular basis

Maintain an accurate inventory through the processes of cycle counting and inventory management.

Strive for efficiencies within order management, as outlined by Operations Administrator and Fulfillment Supervisor, and offer suggestions for improvement.

Be flexible with start and end time of shifts and be available for overtime or weekend hours when required.

Maintain a safe work area and report any areas for improvement.

Follow all processes and procedures as outlined in the employee manual or set forth by the Management team as well as driving security within the department.

Be available for cross-training and working in all fulfillment/production operations.

Maintain accurate daily time logs and records for the team within the department. 

Be well versed in the following tasks (not limited to) Accurately Identifying/Manifesting inbound inventory, receiving inbound materials, Interdepartmental Moves, allocating orders, shipping orders, returns processing, must be able to work well with EXCEL Spreadsheet to manage certain aspects of inventory transactions and serial number tracking.

Ability to operate basic computer functions and learn new tasks/functions

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-passed environment

Drive processes that support inventory accuracy and shipment accuracy

Lead those within the department to operate under the company guidelines, processes and procedures

Good communication skills, detail orientated, proactive attitude and self-driven. 

Work Environment
This position works in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as carts, hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand (sometimes in one space for an entire shift); walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to have the ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must be capable of lifting or moving objects up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
