SJS is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt Trainer who can provide Lean Transformation for healthcare and Six Sigma process measurement and improvement training to hospital staff at different echelons of the organization. The Trainer will report to a Program Manager who is an Executive Sensei.
Responsibilities
The Trainer will:
Provide expert consultant services and training and coaching on performance measurement and improvement and the development, deployment, management and implementation of strategic Lean Transformation initiatives, plus assist with maturation of the existing lean management system
Assist with implementation and management of a Service Improvement Model (SIM) as directed by the Executive Sensei (Program Manager)
Help train hospital personnel to the Yellow Belt or Green Belt level in the Lean methodology
Lead informative sessions for different segments of the workforce, tailoring lean Six Sigma concepts and jargon to match the operational context of each audience to facilitate adoption and engagement
Teach concepts to hospital personnel such as the Define, Measure, and Control (DMC) process
Interact with the facility employees in the spirit of kaizen-change for the better
Assist the Executive Sensei with deploying and managing various Rapid Process Improvement sessions, classes and workshops
Perform Value Stream Analysis (VSA) activities with the team
Assist with data collection and analysis
Compose, and contribute to the composition of, various monthly and annual reports, slide decks and assessments on the Lean Transformation program to enable executive leaders at the customer facility to understand the Return on Investment (ROI) and tangible outcomes of the program
Help develop new lean tools for the organization under the guidance of the Executive Sensei (Program Manager)
Other related Lean Six Sigma training or project management tasks as required.
Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma Green/Yellow Belt Trainer for large-scale healthcare and medical organizations.
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety or similar related 4-year degree from an accredited college or university
Veterans hiring preference.
Familiarity with the Strategic Analytics for Improvement and Learning (SAIL) system is a plus
