Key Energy Services located in Snyder, TX has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Hot Oil Driver.
Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to drive and operate a truck-mounted Hot Oil Unit. This includes the operation of a high pressure pump, a propane-fueled burner and set of coils for heating fluids, for the purpose of paraffin removal in well-bores and flow lines.
This position has a dotted line reporting line to: Supervisor
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives a Hot Oil unit from the yard to well site, disposal areas, etc.
Operates high-pressure pump and burner for heating fluids, using controls such as Throttle, Coil and Discharge pressure, High temperature and pressure. Shut down, and monitor levels in tank.
Keeps up with scheduled work, tracking pressures.
Pulls bottoms on production tanks, using shake out machine to get oil ready to sell.
Operates high-pressure pump to test the integrity of tubing and casing.
Observes equipment gauges, indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions such as wind direction, truck operation, and pump oil levels. Keeps others away during operations.
Carries and lays out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the wellhead or battery.
Connects and disconnects hoses and joints of pipe using hand tools.
Follows safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment.
Repairs, maintains, and adjusts equipment, often using hand tools.
Reads and understands colors and hazard warnings on labels for chemicals.
Uses loto experience to isolate pumping units, reda`s, etc.
Traces fluids path before starting operations to make sure that unit is safe distance away.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
Valid CDL A or B drivers license depending on vehicle required to drive with required endorsements and acceptable driving record within past 3 yrs.
Ability to work in a steady-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
Basic problem solving, organizational skills
Must have knowledge of wells and well-bores and rod pumping systems.
