TITLE
Business Execution Manager - Away From Home (Cleveland/Detroit area)
LOCATION
Eastern MI or NE/Central OH (Work from Home)
REPORTS TO
Regional Sales Manager - Away From Home
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop basic business plans and lead your territory's execution of business results
Meet and exceed profit objectives, volume quotas, and equipment & service targets for Away From Home Beverage in your geography
Excel at articulating and selling branded beverage and food value propositions
Establish and foster relationships with key customer personnel in key departments: purchasing, sales, marketing, healthcare and national accounts
Train and work on a cooperative basis with distributor sales organizations
Maximize profitable beverage sales opportunities through effective use of national/regional/local programs, marketing promotions and distributors
Identify operators and develop sales plans in accordance with operator call guidelines (i.e. branded proposition selling, profitability, volume, and strategic importance)
Create and develop territory coverage plans to optimize time management and resources
Make sound customer business decisions based on customer opportunity, profitability and volume resulting in profitable growth
Call on key, existing Operators to maintain and foster our beverage business and relationship
Effectively manage and maximize beverage equipment placements and product thru-put to maximize ROI
Work cross functionally (National Accounts, Sales Productivity, Marketing and Finance) to deliver the business results
Execute plans and programs to achieve maximum sales volume and operating profit objectives while controlling costs and operating within budget
Identify and make recommendations concerning changes in market, industry and competitive situations that offer opportunity for profitable growth
Accountable for annual budget and actively review throughout the fiscal year
Technical proficiency to navigate multiple technology and systems/tools to manage customer volume, beverage throughputs and initiative results to deliver the business
Effectively managing company assets
Customer Trade Funds, and other support material/samples
Responsible for profitable qualified asset placements (beverage equipment)
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education
Bachelor's Degree is required
Experience
2-10 years of B2B sales experience is required
Work experience in the area of Away From Home sales is preferred
Other
An interest in a long-term Sales Management career is required
Must be able to travel when necessary (averages about 4 overnights per month)
Must be willing to relocate for future growth opportunities
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must live within NE/Central Ohio or Eastern Michigan (Cleveland, Detroit markets)
A clean driving record is required
Experience with the Challenger Selling Training is a plus
Prior use of a CRM tool is a plus
Ability to act as a team player that collaborates and supports others
Asks questions to learn and is curious about the Away From Home business
Continually looks for ways to sharpen own skills and business acumen
General understanding of business finance
Makes an effort to learn business and industry
General computer skills with proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills and presentations skills
