Description

Responsible to inspect and sort product and maintain data to ensure the quality is meeting all required standards.

Responsibilities

Activities and Responsibilities:

Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Communicate with team members and support teams.


• Perform housekeeping and sanitation, as necessary.


• Able to assist with production lines and offline processes as needed.


• Able to feed or place items onto equipment for further processing, for example, snap rings and etching.


• Ability to follow all Standard Operating Procedures.


• Sort all subject parts and determine if parts conform to required specifications.


• Remove defective items and scrap all parts that do not conform to required specifications, including completion of scrap ticket.


• Report any scrap to the Supervisor/Team Leader.


• Ability to work safely and follow all company policies and procedures.


• Mark parts for identification and record all data.


• Input necessary production information into computerized systems.


• Able to read and interpret gauges.


• Communicate with supervisors effectively and take further direction.


• Label incoming and outgoing product for FIFO (First in, First out) and shipping purposes.


• Ability to use microscopes, cameras and other equipment to determine a quality product.


• Additional duties as assigned.


• Works within the organization in a manner which will accomplish the mission and objectives of the company.
