Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

What will I be doing:

The Commercial Services Finance team is a key partner and provides financial support to the Commercial Services organization. The team's main responsibilities include Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Controls and Stewardship, Annual Budgeting and Planning, and Project Support.

The Analyst, Commercial Services Finance, reporting to the Manager, Commercial Services Finance, will execute financial reporting and analysis duties and provide financial support to business partners in Sales, Distribution, and Analytics. In this role, you will execute monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, prepare, and analyze financial reports, and perform business analyses to help optimize and manage costs. The analyst will also help maintain sophisticated financial models and provide analytical support for various Sales incentive and Distribution programs.

More specifically, you will:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance reports, identify key trends, prepare variance explanations, and present reports to business partners
• Utilize PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and Excel to maintain, update, and continuously improve financial forecasts
• Perform monthly Accruals and assist with Actuals Closing for Sales, Distribution, and Analytics departments
• Provide financial planning and analysis support on a recurring and ad-hoc basis to these functions
• Prepare annual budgets and build relationships with key partners
• Provide additional support to GBCS reporting team as needed

• General accounting knowledge, specifically around accrual, cost allocation, and amortization

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

• One (1) year of professional work experience
• One (1) year of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
• Two (2) years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, or equivalent experience in finance and/or accounting
• Experience supporting the development of senior executive-level briefings on sophisticated financial trends and forecasts
• Hospitality industry experience
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, Smartview, and/or PeopleSoft
