Job Description:

PAPÉ MATERIAL HANDLING, INC. – TIGARD, OR

SHOP TECHNICIAN: Position will diagnose and repair all makes and models of material handling and construction equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Pre-delivery setup and installation on all equipment.

• Analyze and diagnose (troubleshoot) equipment malfunctions or failures.


• Repair, replace or rebuild transmissions, masts, differentials, hydraulic system components, engines, electrical systems and steering systems.

• Welding and fabrication may be necessary, but is not required.


• Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.


• At all times operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner.

Experience working onvarious makes and models of forklifts or construction equipment preferred. Must be assertive, a self-starter, and able to work without direct supervision. Good communication skills both written and oral are required. Applicants must have own tools.
