Sr. Manager, IT Asset Management at Iron Bow Technologies in Chantilly, Virginia

Job Description:

Iron Bow is seeking a motivated, experienced, and knowledgeable Logistics & IT Asset Management Manager that encompasses all aspects of the supply chain. This includes forward supply chain / new orders, reverse supply chain / returns, quality control, data plan management, shipping, reporting, cycle counts, audit compliance and documenting policies and procedures. The goal is to drive asset and data accuracy, accurate packaging and shipping of orders, and develop and improve on efficient asset management processes. This position must foster strong relationships within their team and other external/internal departments (i.e. 3PLs - Polaris, KOL, OCCHD management team and technicians, VA Portfolio Account Managers, IB Inside Sales, manufacturing, etc.) This position will manage a team of 10 to 15 Asset Management analysts and warehouse technicians.

The candidate should have experience with the government asset management systems (i.e. AirWatch, Maximo, and TMP), ServiceNow and mobile carrier systems (i.e. Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T cellular & data plans). In addition, the candidate should have strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills as well as be proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manage and oversee the day to day operations (including packaging, shipping, system updates, reporting, policies, and procedures, etc.) of the Asset Management team (i.e. 10-12 resources) to meet or exceed shipment SLA targets for customer orders and RMAs.

  • “Inspect what you expect” with Asset tickets by establishing standards for ticket updates, responses and follow ups with KPIs and reporting elements to manage.

  • Ownership of accurate asset management of all supported systems, reporting, as well as keeping all shipping costs within forecast targets

  • Train and supervise the team; provide feedback as necessary including oversight of Knowledge Base and Training materials in parallel with program team trainers and QA.

  • Drive continuous process improvement and gain efficiencies via workflows and optimizations

  • Interface and communicate with the Dept of VA leaders and end-users to ensure efficient processing of new order, return order, ad hoc Asset Management requests and reports

  • Work closely with various Iron Bow teams (i.e.  Inside Sales, VA Portfolio Account Managers, Program Manager, Project Manager, etc.) and the Dept of VA customer to tune and maintain Asset Management and Data Plan management workflows and reporting

  • Develop and maintain processes and procedures for capturing, tracking, and accounting for all current and newly acquired assets

  • Review reports to identify and resolve discrepancies to existing models and KPIs

  • Complete Quarterly in-person Asset audits, resolve any discrepancies and provide results/report

  • Management and continual enhancements to Service Now IT Asset Management dashboard

  • Ability to research historical data and analyze information (i.e. process request and take necessary action)

  • Ability to translate client requirements into actionable/measurable tasks

  • Generate, distribute and automate (future state) canned and ad hoc data plan reports from various systems (i.e. Service Now, AirWatch, Maximo, etc.)

  • Manage to existing Asset Management Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in PWS (contract), new contract mods and scope any requirements changes

  • Develop, maintain, and provide weekly status report to VA Program Manager on day to day operational activities and process improvements

  • Responsible for the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff and including customer and corporate compliance

  • Develop detailed job & performance descriptions, requisitions, and 30/60/90 plans of existing and future staff and roles

  • Strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory matters

QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):


  • Proficiency with supply chain and warehousing inventory tracking

  • Experience using a ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow)

  • Experience with asset management systems (i.e. AirWatch, Maximo and TMP)

  • Experience with managing data plans with Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T

  • Strong communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. v-lookups, formulas, pivot tables, organize and analyze data)

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills

  • Problem solving mindset with initiative to drive improvement by detailed suggestions and/or research of tools and other efficiency gaining opportunities

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 - 12 years of experience in a leadership role supporting and/or managing IT assets for a federal customer with direct reports. Additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Degree.

  • Some travel within Northern Virginia required with personal vehicle and/or company provided vehicle (between warehouses and Iron Bow office locations)

  • Occasional need to work overtime and/or weekends

  • A non-restricted driver license is required.  DMV check will be conducted.

  • US Citizenship required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance
