Renaissance Milwaukee West, a new premium distinctive hotel is seeking a Part-Time Baker to join our team.

Role Summary:

• The Baker applies understanding of ingredients and food preparation to craft recipes and create one-on-a-kind baked goods and guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, weigh, and combine ingredients in accordance with recipes; use mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked good.


• Decorate and display finished products.


• Create new and unique recipes.


• Adhere to food safety and quality controls at all times.


• Maintain clean and sanitary equipment and workstation.


• Clean and restock workstation as needed and ensure all equipment is in prop working order.


• Assist in tracking inventory and placing orders.


• Consistently provide engaging and friendly guest service.


• Demonstrate safe working behaviors at all times.


• Have ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift, bend and walk. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Other duties as required. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in Baker role. 


• Flexible availability (including shifts starting at 12am/midnight as well as weekends). 

Compensation: 

• The starting pay for this position is $15.00 per hour.
