Job Description:

Job Overview: The UI/UX position plays a lead role in the creation of market-leading user experience (UX) by providing high-quality designs, graphics, mock-ups and layouts for both new and existing web sites and applications. This will be accomplished by designing the user interface for websites, online applications and other digital outputs.
This position will lead cross functional teams to understand the customer need and create software solutions that are easy to use and provide a highly engaging experience. The role requires a thorough understanding of usability design principles and ma best practices, along with an understanding of how marketing messaging, visual representation and interaction design work together to create a world-class user experience.
Expectations: The UI/UX designer will focus on end-user ease of use and functionality of Martin Bros. B2B and B2C platforms. The designer also will work with Marketing and IT teams to develop new applications and digital products that will ensure great user experience.

Communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients.

Work to understand client needs and vision
Address user pain points through effective design
Research and showcase the knowledge in industry trends and technologies

Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups and prototypes

Designs will effectively communicate overall interaction and design ideas
Core focus will ensure great user experience
Designs will be user-friendly, aesthetically engaging and produces results.

Contribute to the creation, adoption and improvement of design patterns and guidelines and ensure their consistent expression across various touch points.

Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs & widgets
Considerations for overall page navigation

Work to identify new, innovative ways to deliver marketing resources to customers and create mock ups for implementation.

Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure brand standards are met.
Concentration placed on creative interactive, engaging user experience.

Job Duties:

Examine the needs of the end user
Collaborate with implementation teams to design efficient and comprehensive user interfaces
Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
Resolve issues and conflicts with team members
Self-starter and detail-oriented, passionate about design and innovation.
Monitor best practices, trends and new technologies and evaluate them for possible adoption.
Conduct user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience
Document functional all aspects of the product design process
Participate in user research activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability studies
Assist with Conversion Rate Optimization in hyper competitive categories
