The role:
Lead the execution of NAM’s operations strategy for Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. Ensure order placement through order delivery experience for Distributors and Members is consistent across NAM markets and delivers high level of customer satisfaction. Develop relationship with local Distributor Leadership to better service their needs to grow their business.
How you would contribute:
Align with Sales and Marketing to provide operational support to launch new products, promotions, and other initiatives
Collaborate closely with Worldwide Supply and Transportation to ensure adequate product supply, assist with inventory planning, and ensure timely communication of any product availability issues to the NAM management team, and to Distributor leadership
Lead monthly Sales and Operations (S&OP) meetings
Partner with Regional Sales Manager to address Distributor complaints regarding operational issues
Analyze ordering processes and make recommendations for improving the Member experience from order placement through product delivery
Provide support and local knowledge regarding potential new product access locations
Implement process controls to address gaps and ensure that our Caribbean warehouses operate in a manner that is consistent with Herbalife Nutrition’s policies and standard methodologies, offering Preferred Members and Distributors high service levels
Maintain the relationships with all 3rd party importers and service providers and provide oversight to the operations and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
Approximately 10-15% travel
Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and background required to be successful:
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive presentations
Highly self-motivated and directed with experience working in a fast paced, team-oriented and collaborative environment
Strong quantitative and critical analysis skills
Proven experience and involvement in Management Reporting and the development of operational metrics
Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
Advanced negotiation and ability to solve problems
Ability to lead, empower, train and develop staff
Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
Experience:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in operations, warehousing, supply chain planning and/or transportation
Bilingual - fluency in Spanish and English
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Master's degree preferred
