Job Description:

The Operations Intern will assist the TIR Operations Department with various matters and will be exposed to various departments and functions, providing a well rounded experience with potential for superior performance to lead to a full time opportunity. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)

Specific duties will depend on Cypress's priorities, but may include:

Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, and all other aspects of the services.

Provide ideas to improve internal business efficiencies.

Engage with internal departmental contacts to perform assigned tasks.

Support Operations processes and procedures.

Compile metrics that describe Operations' functions, policies, and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in business or engineering-related field or currently enrolled in similar curriculum with at least 3 years' progress toward degree
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across functional lines
• Strong clerical skills, including data entry
• Productive work habits, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and complete work activities in an efficient and effective manner
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and work with multiple supervisors
• Proficient Excel skills
• Ability to develop proficiency with Cypress' software systems
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professionalism, judgment, and discretion in working with sensitive information
