Job Description:

Aruba Networks, an HPE company, is looking for motivated and talented individual to serve as RF Hardware Development Engineer for Wireless LAN Access Points.  You will be working in a dynamic and cross functional team that develops products from concept all the way to production.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering and 0 to 4 years industry experience


• Understanding of RF transceivers and related design.

  • Transceiver line up and Noise Figure analysis
  
  
  • Power Amplifiers and matching
  
  
  • Transmission Lines
  
  
  • Filtering
  
  
  • Antenna Theory
  
  
  
  


• Knowledge of and worked with Wireless protocols and modulation
  
  
  • 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be (preferred)
  
  
  • BLE / Zigbee
  
  
  • Cellular standards such as 5G LTE
  
  
  
  


• Product level integration experience
  
  
  • Architecture / design
  
  
  • Chipset evaluation
  
  
  • Interpreting and designing Specifications
  
  
  • Board level Design
  
  
  • Design for Manufacturability
  
  
  • PA / LNA / Transceiver Design and Evaluation
  
  
  
  


• Design Validation
  
  
  • Reading and understanding schematics and layout
  
  
  • Debugging skills to root cause problems either in test setup or design related.
  
  
  
  


• Debugging and bringup expertise
  
  
  • Lab equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power meter, OBT, etc.
  
  
  • Ability to design and execute tests and compile test data.
  
  
  
  


• Data analysis
  
  
  • DVT data, compiling, analysis, and interpretation.
  
  
  • Factory yield analysis
  
  
  
  


• Ability to innovate, differentiate and drive new competitive features.
