Job Description:

Arconic is currently in search of a Forecast Logistics Specialist to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) business unit. GRP is a dynamic global organization that offers the widest variety of aluminum plate and sheet in the world. GRP is made up of Arconic's rolling operations around the world and is Arconic's most global group with manufacturing and commercial sites in North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and Russia.

This position is within GRP customer service group. The position is located at the Davenport Works plant and will support functions primarily in North America across all mill locations. Primary focus will be in the Automotive business segment.
This position will act as a primary resource for aggregating and analyzing customer forecasting inputs, interfacing with the customers and manufacturing to ensure that the forecast is aligned to be supported. Tasks will include problem solving, data/statistical analysis, business strategy development, inventory/cost reduction, and systems modeling. He/she will serve as a GRP resource analyzing, modeling, understanding, and predicting gaps to achieving desired business results.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the customer forecasting process and service the assigned accounts on a day-to-day basis.
• Establish and/or enhance effective relationships with customer contacts, create process documents and translate customer requirements and specifications into manufacturing plans.
• Develop tools to better analyze customer forecasts and the associated impacts of changes as they relate to manufacturing and contractual obligations.Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Accounting or Business
• MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• An understanding of systems modeling tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Oral, written, and problem-solving communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills as the position requires the incumbent to deal with all levels of management; ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems from an accredited institution
• Experience in statistics, data modeling, information systems and experience in a manufacturing environment
• Detail oriented with very strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects/data points in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Experience using multiple complex computer systems simultaneously.
• Experience analyzing data from multiple sources and reaching conclusions and outcome with this information.
