ERAP Assistant Project Manager at Tetra Tech, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Tetra Tech Inc. Is currently seeking an ERAP Assistant Project Manager with funded program experience from the treasury department. This rental assistance program helps renters when they have fallen out of financial stability because of the Covid 19 pandemic . The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience administering federal, state, and local projects and / or Department of Treasury landlord / homeowner / renter assistance programs
• Communicate with case management and call center team leads regarding status, updates, changes, and implementation of the ERAP program rules and processes
• Develop a marketing and community outreach pipeline for projects that meet client and Tetra Tech goals and objectives
• Successfully assist clients in the planning and timely implementation of their federal, state, and local grants
• Work with clients to prepare all compliance reports required by the ERAP program.
• Communicate with senior leadership staff from clients including elected officials.
• Interface with the public, nonprofit subcontractors, and other local agencies as required to support clients' needs
• Identify and resolve program conflicts.
• Manage additional Tetra Tech staff assigned to the project as well as staff assigned by the client to the project.

The candidate needs to be able to make independent decisions regarding grant guidance; must be able to understand and interpret the federal grant eligibility and activities; perform business related research to support client needs; and work with the team in the analysis, formulation, development and delivery of material and results.

The ideal candidate will have management experience with leading teams and developing implementation for local, county, and/or state programs.

The successful candidate should have experience with public speaking, experience working with local and county government officials on disaster recovery, delivering presentations, and facilitating focus groups. Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and good mathematical skills.

Minimum of 8 years working experience.
