As a Pharmacy Product Business Readiness Launch Manager on the Pharmacy Product Management team, you will be responsible for working with cross functional teams to program manage and own the end to end view for launches, focused on executing development; readiness; launch planning and execution of projects. This launch operations role works within the Pharmacy Product Management org, collaborating with GTM, product marketing, sales operations, underwriting, pricing, finance, Agile Solution and Experience managers, etc. to large and complex projects to market. We're looking for a driver who can lead both large new initiatives, as well as smaller products and existing product enhancements; who can earn and maintain stakeholder credibility; who can deliver on an aggressive launch roadmap; and who can lead and maintain high standards in all aspects of planning, documentation and execution to ensure programs are driven to completion.

Upon assignment of a project, key responsibilities would include partnering the Pharmacy Product lead to outline major milestones for a successful development and deployment of the product.  Identify the impacted business areas; assess current documentation inventory; identify changes, as well as new processes and procedures; training impacts and needs; etc. Assemble representation from impacted business areas, and finalize deliverables and align with Epics, Features and User Stories.  Track, monitor and report to product leads and business partners.

Major responsibilities and desired results:


  • Assess levels of impact to various business teams and determine tasks needed

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities required for specific projects or initiatives

  • Hold regular cross-functional stakeholder meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

  • Coordinate with business SMEs, scrum team members and stakeholders as required

  • Frequent areas of business impact to be lead and coordinated include:


  • Legal

  • Compliance

  • Filing

  • Pricing

  • Underwriting

  • Finance

  • GTM

  • Sales and Marketing

  • Agile development

  • Etc.


  • Align tasks with various business timelines (sales cycles; Agile development cycles; system release cycles; state filings; etc.)

  • Collaborate with Agile teams (Solution Managers; Experience Group Owners; Strategic Planning Directors)

  • Training material development and execution

Qualifications


  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functional and lines of business

  • Ability to supervise and direct other launch managers involves in multi work-track projects.

  • Ability to synthesize multi-track projects into one project program in order to manage launch timing and dependencies across the multiple tracks

  • Ability to sustain momentum under challenging circumstances, working with all stakeholders and delivery teams

  • Upon business direction changes, ability to identify required shifts, new or obsolete tasks, and communicate new project timelines across all work tracks to all stakeholders.

  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritize objectives of the project in order to manage the launch successfully

  • Demonstrate strong decision making skills and problem solving techniques

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced, high volume, rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent communication skills and experience in an empowered team environment

  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others

  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

  • Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with frequent business stakeholders

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Preferred requirements:


  • Current or previous experience working within Cigna Pharmacy Management

  • Ability to communicate professionally

  • Ability to work in Agile environment; proficiency in Rally and Confluence

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Have the ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Desire to take more responsibilities and move into a product management role over time

  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience preferred

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
