Job Description

Danfoss has an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Claims Project Coordinator who will play a crucial role in customer service and product support. This job provides support in high impact quality issues and product recalls. This role supports the Business Unit (BU) Quality and customers in the coordination of activities related to product-quality containment at the customer facility and the estimated expense associated with such activities. Also, providing transparency in warranty data across the Customer Claim Handling, Best Customer Connect (BCC) and BU's.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Organizes, coordinates, and support high impact quality issues resulting product recalls, field rework, or onsite customer containments.


• Research, establish, monitor and publish warranty reports that supports in decision making.


• Research, gather, and build expense models associated with the high impact quality issues.


• Effectively and efficiently interact with BU Quality, Engineering, Sales, and customers around the world via email/phone/video to announce high impact quality issues.


• Authors communications to the customer in the form of a Quality Information Bulletin to announce the high impact quality issue or recalls.


• Proficient in SAP in the areas Sales Order management (credits, debits, free-of-charge hardware orders, etc..), IQOS, etc.


• Proficient in using Business Intelligence Warehouse tool in looking sales and shipment history to support affected customers impacted by quality issues and publish warranty reports.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• 3-5 years in quality or customer claims handling field.


• Bachelor's degree is a plus


• Two years' experience successfully working within global teams


• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks across a matrix organization and facilitate global face to face, virtual teams


• Good internal communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation


• Easily identifies underlying issues and patterns in complex situations


• Excellent communicator in English (oral and written)


• Self motivated and able to work with high sense of urgency and goal orientation


• Ability to establish and orchestrate relationships with internal teams and at customers


• Clearly conveys information and ideas to colleagues in an engaging and motivating way


• Proactively coaches and mentors colleagues in relation to own area of expertise while seekingand actingon feedback from others


• Ability to simplify complex topics into main points and make them actionable
