Job Description:

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Planner to support Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket in Valley City, Ohio, 20miles southwest of Cleveland.

The primary responsi b ility of the Planner is the material requ i reme n ts plann in g and purchasing act i vities with respect h i s/ h er assigned prod u cts and suppliers, incl u d i ng but not l imited to ;

• P urchase orde r c reation and change managemen t
  
  


• Al t ernate sourcing
  
  


• Supplier past due monitoring and management
  
  


• SAP M aster record maintenance
  
  


• Ensuring appropriate inventory levels of required products
  
  


• Ensure highest level of delivery service performance to our customers
  
  


• Place purchase orders to ensure time l y delivery of required product
  
  


• Monitor and manage overstocked products
  
  


• M onitor and manage supplier past due deliveries & supp l ier delivery performance
  
  


• SAP Master records maintenance
  
  


• Manage product super cession and phase out
  
  


• Monitor and manage inventory levels for assigned product
  
  


• Resolve Accounts Payable (invoice value , receipt qty ) discrepancies / issues as necessary

• 5 years related experience and/or ;
  
  


• CPPM, CPP, CP M , CPIM , CPSM, ASICS certification and/or four year college degree
  
  


• Strong ver b a l and written communication s k ills
  
  


• Strong MS Off i ce proficiency ; particularly Excel
  
  


• S AP kno w le d ge preferred
  
  


• Ab i li t y t o i nterface effectively w i t h other departments in a profess i onal manner
  
  


• Ab il ity to multi-task with accuracy and effec t iveness
  
  


• Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket Market and Supply Base preferred
