Underground & Submarine Transmission Engineer – (Lenexa, KS) Kiewit Engineering Group, Inc.: Prep of dsgn deliverables for underground transmission lines inclg plan & profiles, ampacity calcs, pulling calcs, material selection, duct bank design, & construction specs in compliance w/ safety, environ & client standards & policies.Reqs: Master’s in electrical engng or rel. 2 yrs exp as an electrical engng, or rel which must incl: Prep desgn plan & profiles, ampacity calcs, pulling calcs, material selection, duct bank dsgn, & construction Specs to comply w/ safety, Environ & client standards & policies; Devel project cost estimates & schedules, eval dsgn options & criteria, & conduct field visits to verify routing conditions & parameters; Advise on devel & engng dsgn of triplex cable system to retrofit existing high voltage pipe-type cable systems *emp will accept a bachelors + 5 yrs’ exp, incl all skills above, in lieu of a master’s + 2 yrs’ exp.
