Job Description:

The Fraud Monitoring Manager is responsible for leading the team which monitors, analyzes and investigates interactions to detect fraudulent access or attempted access to Equifax consumer facing systems in near real-time. One of the primary purposes of this position is to execute on strategic fraud prevention and detection solutions to minimize risk and exposure of Equifax data. This function is a critical line of defense for Equifax and integral to business goals.

What you'll do


  • Develop and maintain internal and external business relationships needed to effectively handle review and investigation of potential fraudulent activity and influence appropriate process and or system changes to minimize risk​


  • Develop, implement and maintain processes and guides that are aligned with industry best practices


  • Establish a means of reporting relevant findings to leadership in a clear and concise manner


  • Conduct quality and compliance reviews of transaction monitoring and investigative actions


  • Provide recommendations, support and partnership to the team


  • Proactively explore and implement process improvements and efficiencies, working with other team-members to create and test new strategies


  • Conduct trend analysis and monitoring of metrics for data integrity, spikes in fraudulent activity and root causes of anomalous behavior


  • Work with key leaders in Global Security and business stakeholders on key tasks and special projects related to process and system changes focused on fraud prevention and detection


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of fraud investigation or related fraud/security experience​


  • Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills


  • Understanding of data and systems, to deliver results that can be actioned


  • Remain current on industry and regulatory matters impacting and related to the protection and monitoring of identity data and access


  • ACFE Certification preferred
