OVERVIEW:
Join a transformative marketing team as ourPart-Time Communications and Content Internand help us develop exciting content for our Skillsoft and SumTotal brands. You'll have the opportunity to participate in the planning and activation of global communications programs for our podcast, blog, social media platforms, PR, and internal communications.
As an online learning platform, we aim to democratize learning and continue to lead the e-learning space. As our Communications and Content Intern, you'll work closely with a talented marketing leaders, build a strong foundation for your career, and help us increase awareness for Skillsoft's journey to build future-fit, agile, and resilient workforces around the world.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Play a leading role in managing and maintaining Skillsoft's podcast, The Edge
- Join Agile marketing teams focused on supporting developing and building content for the key areas of the business
- Draft internal and external communications notifying stakeholders about company news
- Maintain and contribute to Skillsoft blog while overseeing the blog's editorial calendar
- Create and promote content developed by the marketing teams
- Complete weekly reporting deliverables
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous marketing or communications internship (or equivalent) experience and familiarity with core marketing concepts
- A curiosity about our business and a passion for marketing communications
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and online platforms
- Results-oriented and attention to details
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Quick learner and curious about the business
- Reliable, organized, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
