Job Description:

Summary:

• Manage the distribution of supplies in the organization.


• Coordinate with Purchasing to maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements


• Responsible for continuing programs of exploration for new materials and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.


• Supervise, evaluate, and coach staff members


• Interfaces with customer service on the planning, forecasting, and execution of customer orders to meet shipments and delivery requirements.


• Maintain relationships and negotiate with suppliers


• Recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase the quality


• Ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials department functions

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or related field of study.


• 5 - 10 years of experience in materials management or planning, logistics, or related discipline.
  
  


• Demonstrated leadership experience.


• Customer service-oriented


• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems in a complex environment.


• Experience forecasting and budgeting.


• Ability to solve problems swiftly.


• Srong working knowledge of Oracle.


• Excellent organizational and leadership skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office
