SUMMARY

Responsible for providing customer service and supporting Consultants by servicing existing accounts. This position includes independent responsibility for servicing and retention of assigned customers/policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintains the Added Benefits site for each client through providing requirements to Operations Business Analysts to update site, reviews updates, and remove outdated documents as needed from external partners;

  • Gathers, maintains, and organizes a single source reference library for the Consultant team including carrier presentations, product overviews, annual reports and program collateral;

  • Creates and maintains product overview/carrier comparison summaries with most current information about market and carrier capabilities;

  • Assists with project managing and reviewing website updates for content updates, new site functionally, and reviewing new client sites as needed;

  • Assist the Consultants on tracking plan renewals including confirming renewal dates, tracking renewal agreements/letters, managing renewal information on SharePoint and updating internal systems of updated renewal dates and any rate or plan changes;

  • Participates on internal team meetings and external client meetings to record notes and prepare meeting minutes;

  • Gathers, tracks, and distributes RFP responses for Account Managers and help prepare analysis;

  • Reviews and tracks updates to plan documents including plan brochures, certificates, and policy booklets to verify plan updates are accurate and providing updated documents to all internal teams;

  • Assists with client stewardship meeting presentations and proposal for clients;

  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings as needed for the team;

  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);

  • Works on special projects as needed;

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Four (4) to Six (6) years related work experience

Experience with SharePoint preferred

Must have or obtain a valid Life, Accident, and Health insurance license

SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Good problem solving and time management skills

Ability to work in a high paced team environment

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Strong attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
