Product Manager- Fintech Promotions Settlement at Inmar in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Description:

The Product Manager will lead in the development of new features, functionality, and enhancement to Inmar promotions settlement offerings and is responsible for managing a wide range of projects. Project activities will include but are not limited to; requirements gathering, product prioritization and strategy, and project management across various departments such as Client Operations, Marketing and Engineering. The ideal candidate will utilize prescribed project management tools and processes including project schedules, coordinating project meetings, and track issues and action items necessary to deliver on-time implementation of key product offerings.

Primary Accountabilities:


  • Perform market research through customer calls and internal Inmar associate interviews to identify new opportunities and flush out customer needs.

  • Engage with stakeholders on product features to help refine completed backlog items and participate in roadmap planning

  • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) business needs as detailed technical requirements.

  • Act as the project manager for feature development. Manage deliverables, identify and remove roadblocks, ensure releases are launched correctly, on schedule and triage issues as needed.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies 

  • Lead “Go To Market” Phase including collaborating with Product Marketing on collateral; conduct Sales training; and coordinating deliverables for launch from key stakeholders.

Research emerging market trends and perform competitive market research in order to be an expert with respect to the competition

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2-4 years of related work experience in product or project management 

  • Experience with accounting and/or payments systems

  • Ability to communicate actionable and clear messages to clients, users and across teams with various technical skill levels and roles

  • Experience with analytics/BI tools (i.e. Looker) and data exploration

  • Experience with agile framework and ideally agile software (Atlassian, Jira) 

  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
