Position Summary:

This unique role within KCNA Procurement drives the integration of a full suite of systems. You will become the subject matter expert of requisitions, purchase orders and integration into SAP and Cloud based solutions. You will manage and own large, complex projects across broad areas of business, often involving multiple stakeholders including Procure-to-Pay End-to-End Process. You will also provide strategy development and deployment through expert guidance with a full range of project management tools, problem solving tools, analytical thinking, systems knowledge, and process development.

Organization:


  • Reports to the Systems Team Leader within the Strategies and Capabilities team in KCNA Procurement.


  • Customers: requisitioners, procurement operations, category managers, IT.


Current Scope


  • Manages projects across multiple functions, 3+ months in duration.


  • Supports NA P2P & KCNA Procurement Ops & System Support strategic initiatives/projects.


  • Procurement subject matter expert for all PO transmission types (PO, POA, PO Change and ASN) and various cloud-based systems.


Expectations:


  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for KCNA procurement systems, such as SAP, EDI, and various cloud-based solutions.


  • Support end users (both internal and external to KC) to ensure that they can use the systems appropriately.


  • Work with suppliers to onboard them onto appropriate purchase order document transmission methods


  • Work with the IT organization to ensure ongoing support of procurement systems.


  • Own, lead and manage projects through the project life cycle including initiate, plan, design, organize, resource, execute, implement, monitor, control, evaluate, and close.


  • Lead and deliver on a multi-disciplined project.


  • Provide strategy development and deployment through expert guidance with a full range of problem-solving tools, thinking, systems, and processes.


  • Complex problem solving and creative solution implementation.


  • Change management and communication responsibilities.


  • Successfully influence a diverse group of stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.


  • 8-10+ years of supply chain or business-related experience and/or cross-functional experience.


  • Experience with SAP, varying systems based on business need (e.g. SAP, Ariba, and other 3rd Party Platforms, etc.)


  • Experience establishing networks and building relationships.


  • Proven ability to manage medium- to large-scale projects.


  • Ability to effectively organize, plan, control, and communicate.


  • Demonstrated success influencing a large, diverse group of stakeholders.


  • Ability to embrace change and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP, PMI).


  • Experience with CI/Lean methodology, including Simple Problem Solving and other tools such as process mapping, process improvement, A3, Kaizen events, etc.).


  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large sets of data and provide data-driven recommendations.
