By joining Emerson as an Application Engineer in Stafford, TX, you will have a substantial role in offering efficient solutions and strong support for our customers. • Support list price generation, optimized margin, and technical sales support.
• Partner with key stakeholders including but not limited to sales managers, product managers, engineering, planners, buyers, manufacturing engineering, and finance to maximize profit and provide quick technical solutions to customers.
• Be proficient in ASME and ASTM standards.
• Negotiate contractual documents directly with customers and/or suppliers.
• Maintain/provide key data for daily, weekly, monthly use.
• Assist pricing negotiations of customers’ proposals.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 0-3 years’ related experience
• Technical qualification in a mechanical field highly desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• SAP and CRM experience a plus
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

• The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, ability to work with detail and solid math skills
• Knowledge of valves and SAP would be valuable
