Job Description:

As a Field Installation Technician, you'll be tasked with installing more complex security systems in residential customer settings.  You'll work closely with our outside sales team to ensure our customers receive the highest level of professional care from start to finish.

Core Job Duties:



  • Travel to customers sites to install or help troubleshoot technology products

  • Identify opportunities to enhance customers experience during the visit by going above and beyond the initial customer request

  • Advise customers on products that meet their needs

  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, always portraying the company in a positive light

  • Share customer feedback and insights with fellow field technicians and other Vector teams

  • May help with service calls as needed

  • Flexibility with full-time schedule, including weekends/evenings

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalency

  • Valid drivers license

  • Minimum of 2 year of experience installing wired and/or wireless security systems


  • Alarm.com experience a plus



  • Level l NICET Fire Alarm System Certification a plus

  • Ability to climb ladders up to 40ft
