ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Review technical documents associated with contracts.


• Perform or Check design calculations.


• Develop design sketches.


• Review design, fabrication and erection drawings prepared by Drafting.


• Work with engineers to resolve construction issues.


• Assist on special projects as assigned.


• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."


• Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."


• Participate in training


• Assist engineering staff with assignments


• Perform additional responsibilities, as directed.

Qualifications:

• Two to three years of college in a bachelor's program leading to a degree in Electrical Engineering.


• Strong communication skills, both written and oral along with good organizational skills.


• Ability to perform work without constant supervision.


• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.


• Strong computer skills, including MathCAD, Excel and MS Word are preferred.


• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


• Power systems analysis or electric machines and transformers course work is strongly preferred.


• Proactive in researching and proposing solutions.


• Ability to effectively work within a team.


• High motivation and curiosity.
