You're also a leader, you help your teammates, share your knowledge, and make others around you better.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews resumes, employment applications, interviews, and screens applicant's technical competence, applicable background and skills, individual goals, and ability to fit in the organization and function effectively
Attends/conducts meetings with hiring managers and develops a deep understanding of the core business/programs, to successfully execute complex recruiting strategies and understand job specifications and business needs
Consults with hiring managers, crafts detailed and compelling job descriptions, determines effective screening questions, and posts requisitions
Acts as an advocate of the company, identifies potential candidate sources and initiates/maintains relationships with a network of contacts to continually increase the quality and size of applicant pools
Sources talent by utilizing the ATS, job boards, postings, referrals, and attending events
Screens talent to ensure candidates are: qualified, cultural fits, and fully vetted for their interest in the role
Consults with candidates, finds out what drives them and guides them through the hiring process
Submits applicants to hiring manager and schedules interviews, assists hiring manager in decision process
Negotiates offers, prepares offer letter requests, and follows up to ensure success in closing candidates
Coordinates employment offers with applicant, manager, and Human Resources
Coordinates arrangements for travel, reporting dates, security clearances, and employment processing
Provides applicants with pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, wages, benefits, allowances, and employment policies
Updates recruiting status report and recruiting database with candidate information
May develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices
Works special projects as assigned; including proposal support, new contract transitions, corporate projects including process improvement or innovation initiatives
Responsible for a requisition load of 10 - 20 active requisitions
